Supporting All Individual Learners (SAIL)
SAIL resource provides a unique learning environment that supports high school students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Students are integrated into mainstream classes with their peers, while also benefitting from the extra assistance from the SAIL resource teacher and behavior technicians. This resource service prioritizes the academic as well as the social success of every student.
A separate SAIL resource room is available – a welcome retreat to go to when requiring a little extra support, when feeling over-stimulated/overwhelmed, or simply needing a quiet space to focus.
Consultative services are provided by a speech and language pathologist, occupational therapist, special education consultant, autism spectrum disorder consultants and guidance counsellor.
