Common Core Basic Education (CCBE)

The Common Core Basic Education Program consists of 15 programs of study in the first phase of adult general education. These programs of study are made up of courses spanning three levels: Literacy, Presecondary and Secondary Cycle One.  ​

The Adult Education and Vocational Services department of the EMSB operates all adult education and vocational centres. Registration for adult education and vocational programs can be done through the AEVS Website. More information can be found on the individual adult centre pages.
