EMSB adopts balanced budget
The Council of Commissioners of the English Montreal School Board has adopted a balanced budget, with revenues of $438.5 million for the 2024-2025 academic year.
As permitted by Budgetary Rules, the EMSB has included in next year’s budget the equivalent of 15 percent of the adjusted June 30, 2023 accumulated surplus. This will allow the board to benefit from an amount of $9.7 million of additional funds.
