What is a Governing Board?
A governing board (GB) is a structure that creates a partnership between the parents and staff to help with the management of the school. The GB is not involved in the day-to-day running of the school but works with the principal in setting and implementing policy directions for programs and services that will meet the needs of the students and the school community
